During my position as social media intern at Wilson's Orchard & Farm in Iowa City, IA I was placed in charge of developing a content calendar, shooting and editing content, and maintaining community management for a branch account of the brands.
When receiving log-in details to the account, the page only had 90 followers. Within a couple of weeks of posting engaging content and being tagged on various posts the follower count increased to 450.
Our most engaged feed post was a post on Mother's day promoting their infamous apple cider donuts.

The post received 33 likes and 1 comment, that being a large increase of engagement than any other posts on the account.
In addition to feed posts I was filming and posting IG Reels that gave a behind-the-scenes look into bakery and how all of the baked goods were made in-house and fresh that day.
The best performing reel was a step-by-step look into how turnovers were made. The post received over 1,000 views and 17 likes.

Although I only had a month to work on building the account, I was able to increase the follower amount by 500% and to help create a foundation for content to be continued and maintained.
The follower count is still raising everyday as more and more people tag @wilsonsbakeryia on Instagram!
